Trademark and Copyright Infringement C&D Letter Lawyer

When website copyright and trademark infringements occur online it often makes economical sense to send a cease and desist letter (or C&D letter).  A cease and desist letter from your Internet attorney can often stop the infringing activity without litigation.

A cease and desist letter (or response) should be drafted by an Internet intellectual property lawyer who understands online copyright and trademark issues.  A C&D letter puts the copyright/trademark infringer on notice that what he is doing is unlawful, and backs up your position with the relevant law.

Many intellectual property infringement disputes begin with a cease and desist letter by a trademark or copyright owner who beleives its rights are being infringed upon.  But before sending or responding to a C&D letter regarding website copyright or trademark law you should consult with an attorney who can advise you about the strength of your legal position, then draft a C&D letter or response that sums up your position in the most persuasive manner possible.

Walton Law Firm has experience sending and responding to intellectual property cease and desist letters about website copyright and trademark infringements.
